I like them both. The first one makes you feel the harsh heat of the sun, and the trees don't even provide any shade for protection. In the second one, the colors are so soft and pretty. I like them both. I think they'd make a great diptych.
They would look amazing printed on canvas. I love them. I was going to say I like the second one best, but having spent a bit of time looking at both I can't choose. You really are a talented photographer.
I made your cockatoo shot into my desktop background. It's definitely my favourite so far.
